It just means nothing processed, only GMO free and organic. Dirty kepo is regular avocados and an occasional regular strawberry. Clean kepo is an organic avocado and organic strawberry. On dirty Keto you can eat pork rinds, deli meats (that don't have sugar), or a fast food burger without the bun on clean keto you need grass fed beef, locally sourced ham that you sliced yourself etc. Zero weight loss difference between the two options. |
Sylvia back! I’ve been traveling much of the past week with terrible/limited meal options. I managed to stick to keto until yesterday when a combo of things were just to hard to deal with (even though I packed alternatives! siracha almonds and stoke bars are good but get tiring after 4 days). So a couple of meals today and yesterday are splurges. First cheats since May 1st, so i’m not going to beat myself up over it. I think i’ve still lost weight due to all the crazy walking and activity I had to do. But will see once I get in the scale again. I’m down 7.5 lbs since May 1st. My original goal was to lose around 15 lbs. So halfway there. Although annoyingly progress screeched to a halt. I think partly thanks to traveling and not really knowing what was in everything I ate. Thinking of giving up dairy this week to see if that helps kickstart things. But I’m not sure. |

I haven't lost any weight and I've stayed keto-friendly but no macro counting. No sugar, no grains, no processed food, but lots of butter, eggs, nuts, cream, and TJ 100% chocolate. No cravings but no weight loss. I was getting in amazing shape at first because I was working out daily. But I have a trial this week so I'm just trying to survive. After the trial, I'm going on vacation, but when I get back on July 1, I'm cutting out dairy, coffee, and nuts. I'm still in board though -- I haven't given up! |

Aria here. I am still in the 8ish lbs weight loss zone since May 1st... completely stalled despite zero cheating and counting macros for every meal. Well, I had one minor slip up - I ordered skirt steak from a restaurant and asked them to simply grill it instead of how they normally prepare it, but instead they put some glaze on it and I didn’t realize until I took a bite. But after that one bite I made my husband trade with me - not sure one bit could have done all that much harm but who knows.
I have started seeing a personal trainer once a week, and have done IF sporadically but not consistently - think I may start doing it every weekday morning and just eating breakfast on weekends to see if that helps move the needle. If not, think I may need to give up dairy which is annoying, since i absolutely love it and it’s the reason I chose doing Keto vs. Whole 30. But have to get at least 10 more lbs off - preferably by the end of June. I am going to be staying with my in laws for a couple weeks in July and most of August and it’s really hard to control what I eat there since they cook the meals, and dealing with 2 kids alone (husband won’t be there) means I won’t have much time to cook even if I wanted too. |

Ines - curious about the breathalyzer. which one do you use? I’ve been using the pee strips but would like something more accurate. After swan diving off the wagon this past Sunday I resumed counting macros on monday. The sticks show i’m just starting to produce ketones as of this afternoon. Hopefully it’ll be better tomorrow. I definitely have no desire to do that again after seeing 1) how crappy I felt the next day, 2) how bloated I was from water retention and 3) how long it’s taking to get back into ketosis. |

Greta checking in. I’ve been stable but no weight loss for the entire month. Last night I ate a ton of carbs. I feel gross. I’m going to double down for the month of June. I really want to lose 15 lbs by the end of 2019. I have to quit dairy. Ugh. |
Junebug here. I am 5’2”, was 124 last year but started a desk job FT and now I’ve gone up to 139 and can’t get my pants on. I used to work out a lot but now maybe once a week and a 15 walk every day. I think I eat ok, but the office snacks and sweets have tempted me like never before. I mostly lactose-free but eat yogurt and butter. My kitchen is also undergoing an renovation right now which makes things harder. |
