Dying to know -- what are the noodles made of? And what are keto meatballs? I made the keto fat bombs (put in tons of flax seeds so they are healthier). They are really rich so you can't eat more than one. I don't think eating them was great for me but it's fine. I got a bit off track because I bought a juicer and started making celery juice (with just 1/2 an apple). It's delicious but shouldn't be everyday -- even celery juice has too many carbs. And then I've been ordering "breve" cappachinos and that's another way to get off track. But it's been weeks without sugar or grains so that's a huge plus. And I get like my body feels healthier and my hair and skin are better. I need to remove the dairy because that's where too many of my calories are coming from still. Cheese is my go-to snack and the key is to stop snacking. A healthy alternative to dairy? Chia and flax seed soaked overnight in almond milk? I haven't tried it but I heard it tastes like a rich pudding. After the sweet potato, I am back up so still at 140+ with 20+ pounds to lose. But I never lost/gained water weight, and feeling better. Now it's time to get tough and give up the dairy! --Lego
Sylvia back! I’ve been traveling much of the past week with terrible/limited meal options. I managed to stick to keto until yesterday when a combo of things were just to hard to deal with (even though I packed alternatives! siracha almonds and stoke bars are good but get tiring after 4 days). So a couple of meals today and yesterday are splurges. First cheats since May 1st, so i’m not going to beat myself up over it. I think i’ve still lost weight due to all the crazy walking and activity I had to do. But will see once I get in the scale again. Anyways, keto meatballs, which my kids love: https://www.ibreatheimhungry.com/low-carb-meatballs-alla-parmigiana/ The wonder noodles say they are made of glucommanan. What can I say, some sort of sorcery is going on there. I’m excited to be able to cook and eat fresher food again now that we’re home!
