Perhaps OP should have titled the thread Update rather than AMA. But it is absolutely interesting when someone who was in despair comes back with a positive outcome.

That’s so nice of you to say. I was so alone and in despair, and I certainly didn’t feel that anyone on DCUM (nor in real life!) had my back. With regard to my personal life when I was posting, you can bet that you’ll determine who your true friends are when you fall on hard times.

She was team whatever, but she loathes my ex now: she’s seen how manipulative and unstable he is. She liked him a lot when we were married (he’s very charming, on a superficial level, and handsome, which is why it was so difficult for me to get people to believe and support me when I left.)

That’s a shame she didn’t help you to keep the kids with you when you had to send them to him.

I think she has a lot of regret for not having done more.
