I remember having Michael Jackson notebooks in grade school...with his yellow vest and white shirt. And my Thriller lunch box...haha! Man, I still can't believe it. My whole class was sad tonight, until we tried to moonwalk to Wanna Be Startin Somethin, and then we rolled on the floor with laughter. What a day.
Go out and do something fun and invigorating...get your blood pumping and your body moving...you will wake up that sensual energy that is longing to come out.
When I was working FT, I accumulated 4 wks of vacation. But they laid me off before I could take it! So now it's only 1 full week this year and a bunch of mini trips.
I dress in hip hop gear, zumba gear and brazilian workout wear, so yes, probably a bit young for my age...but hey, it's my job. Cleavage and midriff are completely covered, so I think I can still rock my young threads.
Getting laid off from my desk job was the best thing that ever happened to me. I LLLLLOOOOOVVVVEEE my job with all my heart.
I started a new dance class today...teaching an outreach program for low-income teenagers. What a TOUGH crowd to win over, but it is a wonderful feeling to motivate young people (many of whom are overweight) to get active, forget their problems for awhile and have some fun. It's a blessing to see them smiling and moving.
For those of you that do Santa/Easter Bunny/T Fairy, are you going to be the one to break the news to them or will you let them find out from their friends? I only ask because my DC still believes in it despite all his friends telling him there's no such thing. And I don't want to lie to him or break his heart! If I tell him now, I will ruin it for my youngest. I feel damned if I do and damned if I don't!
I delivered at 27 weeks. I remember what I needed the most was preemie clothes! I had tons of newborn clothes ready, but I was not prepared to clothe a preemie. I would congratulate your friend, tell her about all the MILLIONS of preemie success stories (so amazing what they can do now) and I bet she would appreciate a few preemie outfits.
I have done it and it was miserable. The only way I would do it again is if I had a whole month to travel, making many long stops to really explore the country. I drove coast to coast in 10 days with 2 little ones. Besides Lake Tahoe, Wyoming and family in Ohio, the rest was pretty much a big blur with lots of whining.
How would I dissolve super sticky glue off kitchen tile? I am googling, but if anyone has any bright ideas, I'm all ears. It is adhesive residue from stick on tiles that I peeled off.
