If you cannot supervise that many kids, you should not be a coach or at least coaching alone (though I do think the kid was right).

$63 - look it up on their website

It's almost a rarity to find something made of 100% cotton these days. Everything's polyester, rayon, "modal," or some other crap.
WTF is modal, anyway?
Snobbery will get you nowhere. At least they put in an honest day's work for someone that probably wouldn't know where to even start.Anonymous wrote:In my experience commercially-grown peanuts can be quite contaminated. Even if they are classified as organic you cannot be sure that there is no Heavy Metal in the soil.
I just hired a couple of "Hill-Billy" types to clear 1/4 acre of our place in WVA and planted my own. They were almost pathetically glad of the work, and hopefully they will put some of the money they earned towards better dental care. Late summer the whole family goes down to harvest and press the peanuts.
Make sure the soils is sufficiently acidic.
Is it more work that going to the store?
Yes, certainly.
Is it worth it for the high quality result?
Yes, in my opinion.
Do I look down on people who take the lazy option and go to the store?
No, everyone must do what is right for their own family.

Oh man! My mom used to make a "krab salad" that was imitation crab meat, shredded iceberg lettuce, mayonnaise, and tons of cayenne pepper. I would DEVOUR it. Haven't thought about that stuff in years!
