I wasn't sure if you meant light blue tile, paint, or cabinets. I'll try to share a little of each.

Confession: Blue is my favorite color and I'm sharing a photo that has been my dream kitchen for a while now.

Do you know who makes the tile in this photo?

It was done by Orlando Soria for his mom. Here's his reveal post.

This is the tile (color is Crater Lake): https://www.fireclaytile.com/tile/sizes/detail/tile-specialty-field-hexite

We need to plan a little girl's (4 years old) room in green that includes a loft bed! Any ideas?

Quick question. Is it more important to see a girl's green room or to see a room with a lofted bed? Those two together might not render many results. Any particular style?

More photos of the house...

So people don't have to click, here's OP's inspiration house:

Anonymous wrote:Hello! We’re moving into a home with a large 3-sided stone wood burning fireplace that separates the kitchen and living area. We’re thinking of painting it either dark gray/black or white. The area is very bright with lots of windows and the walls, cabinets, floors, and counters are white/light in the kitchen and the wood floor in the living area is a lighter color, too.

I’m leaning towards dark but was wondering if you could find any inspiration to help us choose? Or overall advice? Thanks!

Are you set on painting it? I'm finding some lovely pictures of large, stone hearths and fireplaces.

White, but not stone.

I guess you could drywall, if you don't like the stone look?

Talking to my older relatives in Manhattan was upsetting me because they didn't see to be doing as much to isolate, but I finally realized they were downplaying things out of concern for US. They didn't want us down in DMV to be worried about them.

Anyway, just wanted to say that I understand where the worriers are coming from! Hope your loved ones stay safe and healthy!
I urge everyone to pause and try to imagine the stress of being in Manhattan right now. We are expected normal behavior from people who are being stressed in a way we can't understand (and hopefully won't in the DC area, but who knows).

My family is in NYC and I am having trouble focusing for an entire work day because I'm beside myself with worry about their safety. My older relatives aren't exactly calm and rational right now and I am not expecting them to be.
Things I'm working on:

1. Stone fireplaces in living spaces/kitchen
2. Blue and white dining rooms, classic style
3. Light blue kitchens
4. Living rooms that aren't precious...but need more info on that one!
5. Girl's green room

What is your style? Colors?
Kitchen & Dining Rooms with Lower Ceilings (not sure how low is low)...I don't think there was any direction about design style?

One more for the black and white kitchen person

Is the terra cotta floor person still around?

This is interesting. On the flip side, a Christian influencer I follow (Makerista) posted Instagram stories from HomeGoods. Someone wrote to her that seeing her out and about made them feel better. She posted a screen shot of the comment with a quote from scripture about how the spirit will protect the faithful.

Perhaps you can wipe down your bottles, cans, etc. and move on without incident.
