Scary incident at Arlington Whole Foods

Went in to the grocery today, and the cashier was so busy laughing and chatting with her colleague that she didn’t notice what she was touching as she put the groceries in the bag. And then to cap it all off, she wiped (I mean wiiiiiiped) her drippy nose with her latex-gloved hand then proceeded to bag more of my groceries. She and the manager couldn’t have cared less! Grosssss!! They should just shut down if they can’t do better than this.

The correct response: Gently note it to the cashier. If you're feeling especially salty, take it up with the manager.

Otherwise, stay home and order remotely. Bitching on an anonymous website accomplishes nothing.

Calm down OP. These people are not perfect - none of us is - and I commend them for being at work in the first place.

BTW, what were you doing out grocery shopping? Did you need flowers for your table?

Whole foods is the filthiest store. The bulk bins where you have to scoop and tie the bag yourself. The hot bar. The soup bar. The tea cookies sitting out with nothing but those paper squares for picking them up. The nasty sample container of guacamole.

heard at a local walmart someone flipped out at the cashier for not wearing gloves and wanted them to wash their hands. cashier pointed out to the customer they were using the pin pad that a thousand other people had touched

I was in there on Saturday and surprised to see they still had the self serve cookies and breads out. Maybe they've stopped since.
