Things I'm working on:

1. Stone fireplaces in living spaces/kitchen
2. Blue and white dining rooms, classic style
3. Light blue kitchens
4. Living rooms that aren't precious...but need more info on that one!
5. Girl's green room

LOVE this thread so much, particularly now.

We need to plan a little girl's (4 years old) room in green that includes a loft bed! Any ideas?

We’re thinking of painting it either dark gray/black or white. The area is very bright with lots of windows and the walls, cabinets, floors, and counters are white/light in the kitchen and the wood floor in the living area is a lighter color, too.

I’m leaning towards dark but was wondering if you could find any inspiration to help us choose? Or overall advice? Thanks!

Are you set on painting it? I'm finding some lovely pictures of large, stone hearths and fireplaces.

White, but not stone.

I guess you could drywall, if you don't like the stone look?

Quick question. Is it more important to see a girl's green room or to see a room with a lofted bed? Those two together might not render many results. Any particular style?

Not important to see them together. This is in a renovated Craftsman bungalow, but OK for the style to go fun directions otherwise.

I wasn't sure if you meant light blue tile, paint, or cabinets. I'll try to share a little of each.

Confession: Blue is my favorite color and I'm sharing a photo that has been my dream kitchen for a while now.

Do you know who makes the tile in this photo?

It was done by Orlando Soria for his mom. Here's his reveal post.

This is the tile (color is Crater Lake): https://www.fireclaytile.com/tile/sizes/detail/tile-specialty-field-hexite

Little girl's room with green and/or loft bed. I'm assuming bunk is okay just to give you ideas.

It's a nursery, but OMG!

What is your style? Colors?

Room and Board, West Elm, Crate and Barrel (some). So maybe contemporary but not super modern? Have had a dark grey couch for a while and kind of ready for a change but probably want a darkish color for the couch.

OP how about some nurseries that aren’t super cutesy or totally impractical? Light blue is my favorite.

OP, thank you for these pics! What a great distraction right now.
Can you find any photos of pretty but simple decks / outdoor spaces, please?

OP do you do bathrooms? We're putting a bathroom in our basement with a walk in shower (no tub) and just can't decide on a style. I like glam art deco/ chinoiserie and was leaning towards white marble tiles and a cobalt blue or navy vanity with white counter. The floors are luxury vinyl plank that's wood colored. I can't decide on the tiles, the sconce lights next to mirror, the faucets, gold vs silver, argh! I want it classic, but stylish.
