Hate white kitchens. How about kitchens with oak cabinets that have been updated?

In return, you try for ONE DAY not to say something negative about what someone else likes or has in their house. It's good for your health to practice thinking positively.

Fireplace renovations. It looks like tile is more popular than painting lately. Room is pretty neutral - white walls, medium gray sofa, colors are in the rug and pillows.

How about a log cabin family room addition.

I don't know if this is even doable, but what about an updated 2 story open foyer that was popular in the late 90s/early 2000s? Or does everyone just close those off?

Also looking for mudroom/laundry combo inspiration.

Thanks!

Just embrace it and once a year make your teen children and their friends sing that goodnight song from The Sound of Music. Pay them $10.
