The Harvard case exposed some ugly realities, among them the systematic discrimination against Asian Americans -- those biases personality scores were quite a shock to many.

History books will reward those who end such racial discrimination. I am actually very hopeful that SCOTUS will get to see the case and to rule discrimination of the basis of race unconstitutional.

Because there ARE significant similarities between these two persecuted groups, with Jews' history of persecution extending for a much longer period of time - and with more extremes. So why does that bother you? Because ONE of these groups has exceeded above average, and the other group....not so much. Comparing something that happened in ancient times to something that happened 150 years ago isn't intellectually honest. And that's just the first item on your list.

Have Jewish and Black people had similar choices and opportunities available to them in the US in the last century? How recent were their enslavements? How extensive were the bigoted laws that suppressed them? How much were their families torn apart? How much of their own culture/language/history did they lose over the centuries? etc. etc.

Yeah totally dissimiliar.... The jew's suffered far more discrimination, for a far longer period of time, with far more severity, yet they were able to survive and thrive when society liberalized.

The DP with the 32-second summary provided very good detail, and your response is a meaningless put down. And why? Because there ARE significant similarities between these two persecuted groups, with Jews' history of persecution extending for a much longer period of time - and with more extremes. So why does that bother you? Because ONE of these groups has exceeded above average, and the other group....not so much. That shows that there are other factors besides bigotry to explain lack of success, and demonstrates that with the right behavior and choices, people can negate the impact of bigotry to a great degree. Jews are a very obvious example of this.

Plenty of time and yet, government sanctioned housing discrimination just ended in the 1970s with its impact continuing. No one is waiting for a white savior, just stating the facts.

The saddest part of this commentary is that white women benefit more from AA than anyone.

How does one just create a new culture. So ignorant and uneducated.

How do you know that African-American students have lower scores? Or do you believe that Blacks in general are inferior to whites?

You didn’t answer my question. And of course I know that blacks scored the lowest out of five racial categories tracked......the data is publicly available. Roughly fifty points lower on average than Asians and thirty points lower than whites. I don’t think blacks are inferior or superior to any other race....why do you ask? For the record there have been significant racial disparities in standardized test scores since these tests were first administered and although significant research has been conducted as to causation, there have not been any conclusive answers.
