They weren't dragged here in chains and had every aspect of their culture destroyed (name/language/history/family units). Many descendants of slaves don't even know their ancestors' countries of origin. People have done many shitty things to other people over time. This isn't a contest. Not sure why people don't want to accept what was done to the enslaved people brought here from Africa and the long-lasting effects of that brutality. [/quote]
