Re-entering the dating scene. Are brazilian waxes an expectation now?

Maybe hairless women like to flash.

The Korean spa is notoriously busy on Saturdays, all walks of life, sizes and shapes too, but it gives a pretty good glimpse into women in the DMV. All have to be nude for the pools and scrubs.

I’m going to challenge you on that and say the people who would go to a Korean spa on a Saturday afternoon in June have much more commonality than not.

It’s where many go to decompress. The nudity is for hygiene. You are required to shower before getting in the communal pool. If anything it’s a place you do not have to be hyper aware of your physical appearance. That’s what’s great about it. The weather outside is irrelevant to why folks go.

Way to miss the point!

Man here who does not equate hairless and children. Gross.

Tidy is the best. Think about where his face and nose might end up, and make whatever adjustments you think is best for you. Same should go for him.

You do - you're just not admitting it. It's a look that came from p*rn and men enjoy it for one reason only.

Yes, it's super painful. I did it a few times but the pain never got better. Also, being hairless felt really strange to me. I didn't care for it. I'm also too busy/lazy to keep up with it long term so neat and trim was a better option for me.

No idea what the dating pool would expect these days but I think it really depends on the man. My DH has never liked it.

You’re lying on a bed, he slowly runs his hands down your sides and hooks his index fingers into the side of your panties, he slowly inches them down, sees pubic hair and then slides them back up, says he has to get up really early tomorrow and makes an exit……of course not!

Some guys like bare, some guys like a huge bush, some guys just like it neat and trimmed but all will appreciate you being a willing and enthusiastic participant. Clip it however you like and when you’ve found someone special you could surprise him with a Brazilian if you think he’d like it…or don’t, it doesn’t matter.

Than you for this response. I feel so silly and out of my depth trying to date again after all this time. This perspective helps.

I'm a married millennial and I like to go bare. I do think DH prefers it.

I don't find that it hurts that much, but I mean all waxing hurts. I do lower legs, brazilian, underarms. It's all done in like 45m and I'm good for 6 weeks.

You can always try it if you want and see what you think, but don't feel "forced" because of men.

IME it really doesn't hurt. I suppose it may be relative to how hairy one is.

I hated the way a Brazilian felt. Don’t do it, OP. Just keep it trimmed and tidy.

You are most definitely not a man. You are some bitter hausfrau who thinks she is the ultimate authority in all things.

Yes, OP, most men prefer it bare and so do I.

Most p*rnsick men. And you've been conditioned to do anything they want, even make yourself appear prepubescent.

I prefer tidy over hairless. But hairless is fine.

Au naturale is off putting.

I’m tidy too.

I keep things trimmed and tidy, but not bare. I’m not into guys who think porn is real life, or metrosexual-type guys who themselves do (and expect others to do) tons of primping, which probably filters out the guys who insist a woman maintain a Brazilian.

Maybe some of the guys I’ve been with would have preferred that, but I’ll never know, because if they did, it didn’t stop any of them from diving right on in.

There you have it OP. You can go Brazilian and attract misogynist manchildren who only want you as a Fleshlight, or you can put up a hedge to keep the trash from drifting into your heated pool.
