Man here who does not equate hairless and children. Gross. Tidy is the best. Think about where his face and nose might end up, and make whatever adjustments you think is best for you. Same should go for him. |
I think that's definitely the case. Totally hairless is a Millennial thing with some young GenX. It became mainstream in the early 2000s. |
The Korean spa is notoriously busy on Saturdays, all walks of life, sizes and shapes too, but it gives a pretty good glimpse into women in the DMV. All have to be nude for the pools and scrubs. |
I’m going to challenge you on that and say the people who would go to a Korean spa on a Saturday afternoon in June have much more commonality than not. |
Yes for men under 60 |
Millennial woman here. Perhaps in the minority for my age group, but I’ve never done anything more than shave or wax the bikini line and trim up the front. Had a robust dating life before marriage and never had any complaints from men.
Assuming basic hygiene, the presence or absence of hair shouldn’t be a big deal (either way) for any man with a healthy sexuality. I would be so turned off by a man who insisted on complete hairlessness. How prissy. |
I’m on the gen x/millennial cusp and same for me, but I also was very aware through most of my 20s that of the women I had conversations with about it, I was in the minority. I think there are other things about my personality that meant I’m not attracted to men that is important to, and they’re not attracted to me either. |
Please trim along with the bikini line wax. No one wants a mohooter. |
To answer your question it is in fact very painful, yes. I have done it a handful of times and was always shocked by how barbaric it feels. |
I will never stop being astounded at h the painful things women do because of peer pressure or because they think men want it.
I’m a straight 50 year old woman. |
I would agree with you PP. I'd say there's a 0% chance you'd catch me or any of my friends there then. Or possibly ever. |
But are you single? Maybe 50yo women who have been married for years aren't getting Brazilian waxes but their single counterparts are. |
I’m 46 and keep it hair free for myself, not for my husband. I just like the feeling better. |

It’s where many go to decompress. The nudity is for hygiene. You are required to shower before getting in the communal pool. If anything it’s a place you do not have to be hyper aware of your physical appearance. That’s what’s great about it. The weather outside is irrelevant to why folks go. |
