It was racist in that she used it in contrast to "nice middle class neighbor" as if her cleaners were none of those. She used "Mexican" as a catch all, as if this single word in itself was descriptor enough to let us know the difference, and as if somehow this made the cleaners more apt to lie than the drug addict next door. Mexican in itself is not racist. But OP used it in a racist way. |
| OP, get a life. |
Not the addict. Her mom really reported it to me. I later found out it was her DD. |
Uhm, because I’ve known mothers using together with their children? Do you think this never happens? Do you live under a rock? |
| OP is why I do not recommend my housekeeper to anyone who I do not know extremely well. White people are so panful. |
At 7:30AM in the morning in her house while her whole family is at home? I find it hard to believe she would be so idiotic. She could drive for 2 minutes and smoke somewhere else. |
Not really. 7:30 am and she really needs a hit after waking up. Nowhere to reasonably go at 7:30am and return. Store? Seems suspect, not to mention how to get rid of the smell then too. She goes outside, then can deflect to cleaners. And her mom can't afford to believe anything else. OP, I guess you are getting hammered so hard because you seem to refuse to consider that you did anything wrong, or at the very least consider the possibility that the drug addict might have lied. You keep doubling down on it must have been the cleaners. |
I’m beginning to think that you all are projecting. I mentioned their Mexican and possibly illegal as this would be a good explanation why they immediately jumped to the thought that thy are not safe because neighbors could call cops in them. If they weren’t I would think they were guilty because people are ordinarily not afraid that someone will call cops on them as they have done nothing wrong. Also, I told you we had a similar situation a few years ago when our neighbors alerted us that people renting our property were doing pot. They were white. I believed the neighbors and confronted the renters. Was I racist against white people too? Please, spare me from your victimhood. |
I do consider that the neighbor lied hence the name of this thread. |
| Your reaction was super weird and over the top regardless of race. |
|
1. Neighbor kid smoke pot.
2. Mom caught her. 3. She blamed your cleaners. 4. You are a moron that deserves bad things. |

The neighbor could have lied. It was a balsy move if she did it, drawing attention to herself like that. If before she flew under radar, now all the attention is on her.
There are two things that were suspicious about the cleaners. 1. They were terrified that cops will be called. Do you worry that cops will be called on you? I don’t because I have done nothing wrong. 2. They played the race card. The neighbors accused them of smoking pot because of racism and they were racially profiled. Seriously? If I was in their situation I would just say they “may have smelled something but it wasn’t pot” or “oh, no, it wasn’t me”. I would not go into this whole conspiracy against me because of my race. |
But that seemed like a throw away to get attention. You have consistently made it clear you believe the neighbors over the cleaners. |
Putting all white people in the same bag is kind of racist. I hope you go to bed now, have a restful sleep, and wake up with a clear mind tomorrow. It’s been a long day. |
