Agree, and I also agree that I don't care if my cleaning lady is high as long as she still does the job well. I agree with OP's cleaning lady that it is racist because the neighbor is using Mexicans as a scapegoat when it was probably the daughter who smoked and got caught and blamed it on the cleaning ladies. I also don't see why OP had to point out that her neighbor is Middle class, as if them being lower class would make them less believable. |

I can't imagine a daughter smoking pot in a car with the mom, especially if, as you now seem to suspect, they are illegal. I can't imagine a mother letting this happen.
Sounds like neighbor daughter is a troublemaker and you fell for it. Regardless of how you worded it, they now know neighbors are watching them. They won't be back. |

OP here. I don't know the Mexican family very well. They only come and clean. We don't talk much. The daughter is young. It's possible she smokes with her friends or boyfriend in the same car. How would I know? And also, having lived life I can tell you that sometimes people do the craziest things that you least expect from them. |

OP you are an idiot and a terrible judge of character, and you can't even tell the story in a way that makes you sound sane when you have time to come up with explanations for your behavior.
