Breaking up after she was a drunken embarrassment at a wedding?

She's 27. Only sibling is the brother, so understandable she was emotional. But the vulgar grinding with brother's friend at a quaint wedding was just awful. He was taking full advantage too. No, I'm not insecure or threatened. Without question most embarrassing experience of my life.

It was the most embarrassing experience of your life? You must have led one hell of a boring life.

Ignore the alcoholics.

Totally inappropriate to still be getting blackout drunk at 27. Might expect this from an 18 year old.

I know a person like this (and she is 27 so I wonder if it is the same person). We pity the boyfriend because he never stands up to her and allows it to continue. It shows no sign of getting better.

The OP has reported about half the posts in this thread. It's probably better for both of us to shut it down.

This. I have absolutely nothing against getting drunk. But it's another story to get so drunk that you're publicly embarrassing yourself and your date. The grinding with a groomsman was totally inappropriate and drinking is no excuse. If she does this in front of her boyfriend, what would she do behind his back if she gets drunk with her girlfriends? There had to be points in the evening where she thought to herself, "wow, I'm really feeling it! I ought to slow it down" yet just kept going. Call me crazy, but I prize class and poise in a mate.
