Never had any side effects
Off for a while, have gained about 3 pounds (and look better with those 3 pounds, people commented that I was too thin)

Wow. That’s a lot of weight loss for 9 months. Did you eat, diet or do anything specific in conjunction with the drug?

It's not even September

I’ve been on Wegovy for 8+ weeks and just moved to 1.0. No side effects except more tired with 1.0 but I heard that is normal and temporary. It’s been hard to get even with Rx sent in two weeks in advance. I’m paying out of pocket so it’s a small fortune. At some point I will move to a compounded formula but need advice on what on line firm to use.

She lost the weight you hated so much. What the hell is your problem?

I would hope the reaction is to losing almost 100lbs in 10 months.

What would you eat/drink on a typical day before the drugs vs now? I'm curious about how extreme the change becomes in what you eat.

Started Wegovy early January of this year and have been at 1.7 since March (2.4 was too much for me). I'm VERY happy with my weight loss. I just started Pilates and am loving that too! I'm definitely eating less and with the weight loss have more energy in general. I'm simply eating less and making better food choices. Certain foods just don't "sound" good to me most days (fried foods, pizza, super rich/sugary things like cheesecake, etc).

It also let me realize it was my ADHD causing my binging and overeating. Tweaking my meds has been amazing there as well. I'm content to continue the shots as long as needed. I don't really have a goal weight, my best guess is somewhere around 170-180. FWIW I'm 5'10" and have a larger build in general. It's been so long since I've been that weight I just don't know how it'll look!

I'm pretty sure it was in reaction to someone weighing 308 lbs in the first place. People like her are like I rarely leave the house at 275 lbs.

Then insurance kicked me off ozempic. I tried tirzepatide but didn't work for me and I gained 20 and went up to 195. Now at 190 and back on semaglutide through a compounding pharmacy. Amazing how quick it was to gain the weight and taking forever to get back to the 170s. Ideally would get to 160s.

I know this post was from a long while back, but I am hoping you might see this and respond. You mentioned the extreme and fast weight gain – did you implement other lifestyle and exercise changes that you were able to keep going to maintain the weight after you got the shots???

I use Orderlymeds. Their customer service is great, and I've never had an issue getting a response. After signing up I had medications a week later, and that was over Memorial Day weekend. https://orderlymeds.com/medication

Compound Sema is $249 for four weeks, no matter the dose
Tirzepatide is $399 for four weeks, any dose

There are coupon codes for $50 off the first month. I don't want people to think I'm spamming. Feel free to ask them during your initial consult.

I've had no side effects, and stay on the lowest dosing as long as possible. Right now I'm still at 0.5. It's working for me, in a slow and manageable way. I do not want rapid loss.

It's simply helping me to make better choices and eat smaller portions. I get full pretty quickly so I eat slowly and it's easy to stop eating.

DP. I lost 40 pounds in about 8-9 months. Mostly a steady pound a week (the exceptions being 9 pounds the first month and 0 pounds in December). I’d done a lot of research ahead of time and was pretty obsessed with losing muscle, so I did weights religiously with a trainer every week the upped weights to twice a week. The change in diet was concentrating on protein and it being VERY easy to skip a meal. I eat 2 meals a day most days. And a dessert. My sweet tooth didn’t go away. But since I’m never really hungry, it’s easy to eat twice, not snack and not overeat.

Yeah there’s someone who trolls the GLP-1 threads and posts one word and/or emojis in response to anyone who dared let themselves get fat and then dared to use medical intervention to lose it. I am curious if that poster is also the Big Fiber poster but I think they’re 2 different people.

And they like to be as offensive to as many people as they can ("JFC"). They must be a real loser.

I really don't understand how these drugs work, because it's so fascinating reading the different ways so many have lost weight. it's interesting seeing people have different ways of losing the weight. Some people suddenly get nauseous at the very thought of dessert but then someone like you still has a sweet tooth. Someone says they now can't stand coffee, others say that's all they can tolerate. It's interesting how two people will have different reactions to the same food and drink, but still both get results.

It was last year (started Jan 2023), and have kept it off. I ate healthy - one slice of thin sliced Dave's bread with a little bit of natural peanut butter and a glass of skim milk for breakfast, salad with protein (grilled chicken or chic peas) for lunch, fruit for a snack, and lean protein and vegetables for dinner. Sometimes, if still hungry later (rare), air popped popcorn. But on birthdays I are cake and at book group had wine and snacks, went out to dinner.

Mostly the Wegovy curbed my snacking and I felt full sooner. So no seconds at dinner, and no late night snacking - I wasn't hungry for more

You just aren't hungry so you eat less. I used to snack after dinner, but now I don't have any interest
