What have been your results from Ozempic/Wegovy/semaglutide?

134 finally put me into normal BMI. I'm using compounded tirzepatide on the lowest dose since 2/1. I'm averaging a little over a lb a week with few side affects and since I only had 30ish to lose I'm okay with that. Not sure what my maintenance plan is yet. Losing more slowly as I get closer to the goal.

-way more than 20 lbs to lose

No. Rybelsus is not anywhere near as effective. I tried it.

Correction: SW was 146. I was originally 155 and lost the first 10 pounds on my own through diet and exercise over a year, but then stagnated. Started compounded Ozempic in February 2024 and am down about 10 pounds. Slow and steady.

Not a troll. I would love to get down to 110 (I’m the 5’1” poster who lost 10 pounds in the past 3 months with compounded ozempic) but I’m trying to be realistic and aiming for 120 or 125. There is nothing wrong with overweight (nearly obese) people using these drugs.

Started Mourjano/Zephound on March 5. Still at 2.5 due to shortages.

I work out 5-6 days a week and had lost 30 lbs three years ago after cutting out dairy/gluten due to sensitivities. Never lost again. (Had put on a lot of weight after taking prednisone for a year to help with my RA.)

I lost 20 lbs using phentermine, but I was unable to lose any more; however, I stayed at 185 for two years before I started Wegovy

I have posted around here before: tried to lose weight starting at the start of this year, found I am insulin resistant and am the heaviest I’ve been in my adult life. (I developed GD and this is a downstream effect of that.)

I did a telemedicine visit in a fit of frustration last weekend and got a prescription for compounded semaglutide. I took my first shot on Thursday. I have lost TWO pounds and my stomach already looks smaller. The increased/enhanced satiety is real and I understand that sema decreases inflammation. My blood sugar was also at a normal level this morning whereas I’d been experiencing the dawn effect previously despite cutting out sugar, gluten, etc.

I’m brand new to this but from where I’m sitting this is a miracle drug.

Took me 2 years. Started on Ozempic and went over to Wegovy when it came out. Same drug: semaglutide. Feel great.

Have been on the medication since last September. Currently on 5 mg of Monjaro every two weeks. Goal is the stay on this medication long term. I love the lack of food noise and am so much more productive and content. It is better than any anti depressant I ever tried.

I pay $650 for four shots, so it ends up being $325 a month. I probably save that at least in not buying unhealthy food on a whim.

I love how my brain chatter about food is GONE. I eat food to nourish my body. That’s it and I can focus on things that really make me happy.

Does anyone know if One Medical prescribes wegovy or ozempic?

Happy with my progress so far but the constipation and stomach pain are no joke.
