Actually, this is the only place I've addressed their clothes. Aside from that, I teared up several times, and prayed Obama would help bring about the change we need, and how badly I, and many others are feeling the economy and the war right now. I was moved by his speech, my two oldest watched and eagerly asked questions about Obama. It felt great to witness such a historic event with my family on a Tuesday afternoon...even if it was from our living room instead of the mall.
that is so beautiful. I wish we could've been there. Why did they change Inauguration day to Jan. instead of March—no way I'll last that long in 20 degrees! We watched with popcorn by the fire.
Both ladies were quite a vibrant change, I think. When I saw Michelle, I thought majestic. When I saw Mrs. Biden, I thought fashionista. I like it when women strut a unique style of their own.
I love the knorr's dip. My mom gets a big round bread, cuts a huge cube out of the middle and puts the dip in the "bread bowl." Then she cuts up the big cube of bread, toasts them and serves it around the bread bowl of dip...along with carrots, broccoli, cauliflower and chips. mmmmm.

whatever happened to the Marilyn Monroe look? Wasn't she like size 14 or 16?
I'm happy with M.A.C. foundation, ....in fact I love everything at the M.A.C. counter.
I've been imaged with ultrasound, mammo, and MRI—all for the breast. The MRI was the most informative and the other two were useless in my case.
There are also many styles of Samba....European/American Ballroom, Brazilian Ballroom, Carnaval (from Rio), and more Afro-Brazilian styles. But I love all of them! Other fun Brazilian dances are: Forro, Pagode, Lambada, and the latest hottest from Brazil is called Axe (pronounced A-shea).
I don't know about Bethesda...but LOVE Samba! It is one of the trickier Latin dances (but my personal favorite) and requires A LOT of patience learning the rhythm. Most of my Zumba students get discouraged with this style...but I tell them, once you put in the time to get it down it is SO much fun!

we split almost everything 50/50, but DH sleeps like a log, so all the night feedings were up to me. I'm so glad that stage is long gone!
1. What is the most expensive fashion item you have purchased AND/OR your most prized fashion possession?
my version of expensive is $119 Brazilian workout pants and $75 Zumba cargo pants.

2. What is the most unusual fashion item you own?
Suede shoes with faux fur trim. They make people look twice, and kids want to pet them.

3. What is the one (or two) that got away for whatever reason?
I almost bought a $60 pair of jeans once, but decided I'm just as cute in a $30 pair.

4. What do you not own that you wish you did even though there is no way you can justify it?
I wish I owned a suit, but since everyone in my line of work (art) wears jeans and t-shirts, I don't really have a reason to own one.
me too me too. I want another long weekend!
I think you can dress sexy in a classy way without looking trashy. It's all how you pull the outfit together.

I have seen some pretty hot 50 somethings sporting A-line minis with and a nice blouse and cute shoes or fitted business suits with a slight hint of cleave. And then I have seen women wearing 5-inch stilettos with everything spilling out of their too-tight clothes on a cold day. There is a difference between sexy and "slutty."
