I was able to identify 61 posts from that poster. The exclamation points are only used in a small number of the posts. I do not think that poster is a "bot".

My definition of a "bot" is a mechanism that posts automatically without human involvement. I encounter these sorts of bots daily as they try to post spam, create fake accounts (to be used for posting spam), and spider the website in order to index the content. In the over 20 years that I have been running this website, I have noted common characteristics of automated bots. This poster does not have any of those characteristics.

On the other hand, this poster does sock puppet, something I just discovered. So, while I do not believe the poster is a "bot', the poster is not exactly wanted here either.
I've fixed that problem.

At some point, posters in the Political forum seem to have decided that they can start threads that are sort of like scavenger hunts. If you follow enough clues, you might figure out the topic of the thread. It has really gotten ridiculous. What do you folks have against clear forms of communications?

Here’s another one of those

Thanks. I just deleted that one.

If there is only a $3k difference, the new one seems like a no brainer. Although, the new one will probably have a higher insurance cost.

You might take a look at the Equinox EV. There are several trim levels (and have AWD versions), but if none of them meet your standards, you can also look at the Cadillac Optiq, which is Cadillac's version of it. Another option is the BMW i4 which also has an AWD version.

There are great leases on the Equinox EV but there are also lots of incentives. So you can get a good deal either buying or leasing. For the BMW, leasing might be a better option since the $7,500 lease loophole can be used.
Generally the service department and the parts department are separate. So the service department probably won't sell you the part, but the parts department will. Just ask the service department for the part number so you know what to ask the parts department for.

I am not sure that we have all that many users from Atlanta.
Thank you for this very nice message. I agree with what you say about the impact of the forum and I have consistently argued that the Brookings report totally missed the way in which the forum has helped some schools that were traditionally overlooked.

While I appreciate the praise that you offered me, I believe that it is misplaced. The value of the forum is a result of user contributions. Without the helpful posts that you described, my role would be inconsequential. We are really lucky to have so many helpful users who use their time and effort to make such important contributions. For all of DCUM's flaws, it is still a great community.

My apologies that this offended you. Perhaps I should have added: our national debt is choking us. Cuts obviously must be made, even though people will argue endlessly where to cut.

Almost everyone agrees we have massive bloat in the federal government. I don’t recall that our previous administration did much of anything to address this issue.

Trump's Big Ugly Bill just added $4 trillion to the debt so forgive me if I don't take your concerns about the national debt seriously. The job cuts aren't really saving any money. What you should really do is start a thread asking people to educate you about the job cuts since you are woefully uniformed. We have posters who lost their jobs and can give you firsthand accounts.
