I don't remember that thread specifically but I think it might have been a thread that was started with just a link which is something that we don't allow.
That is not a public IP address. Please to to www.myipaddress.com and determine your correct IP address. Then I will be able to check out what is happening.
I deleted the thread so that you can try again. But, the home improvement forum might be better because that is normally where we have appliance discussions.

I didn't really check to see if the original poster is a troll but the thread was trollish. The poster was drawing broad conclusions from anecdotes and, given the sensitivity of the topic, was bound to stir everyone up.

The burden of proof should be on the person making the claim, or in this case, posting an article. There is no evidence to suggest the story is legit. It all stemmed from a social media post.

The Morning Call, a legit paper, started it and hasn't retracted the story.
