Terrible news about the AI 171 crash out of Ahmedabad going to London Gatwick. |
Just awful. |
Right after takeoff. Sounds like possibly some survivors. I’m hoping user error and not equipment failure. |
Why does it matter? So you can feel better on your next flight? Such a selfish sentiment tbh. |
There's some speculation of a bird strike. Many injuries on the ground. |
It’s just horrific. I studied in Ahmedabad so know the airport. Thinking of all those affected. |
No survivors have been reported from the plane. Only injuries of people who were on the ground. |
Horrible. My thoughts are with the relatives and friends of those who died. |
Wow, you really read into that comment a lot. |
I’m not that poster but it does matter. Something like a bird strike is a known issue, and terribly bad luck but can’t be completely avoided. More issues with Boeing manifacturing are really troubling for all air travel given the percentage of civilian air fleet that is Boeing. It may mean more crashes, more cancelled flights, more economic impact to Boeing employees and investors. All of that matters. Whenever something tragic happens, one wants to know whether it was just random terrible luck or a problem that is likely to recur and put additional families in this same awful position. It definitely matters for those families whether this is another manufacturing glitch. |
I cannot imagine being the sole survivor!! |
never fly air india
