Thiel interview deleted

Why was my thread about Peter Thiel deleted? Was it because of the Ghostbusters themed joke? I mean, he was asked that question in the interview so I thought it was relevant. Or was I just too irreverent in my attempts at humor?

I generally feel that if you start a thread, there should be some clue as to what the hell it is about. There was no way to know what that thread was about.

At some point, posters in the Political forum seem to have decided that they can start threads that are sort of like scavenger hunts. If you follow enough clues, you might figure out the topic of the thread. It has really gotten ridiculous. What do you folks have against clear forms of communications?

This is so true. I don't think there's hope for anyone in politics but there's a thread in Off Topic called "Have you ever asked your neighbor" and you have to open it to find out it's about elderly driving. How irritatingly vague.
