Seriously? That's just inconsiderate.
Why do they allow an in facility smoking room? I know whenever I visit someone in 3A at Mount Vernon there's a room right in the ward where patients and staff can smoke, inside.
I would use "of" Guinea Pigs instead to replace "in" Guinea Pigs
I was just diagnosed by my orthopedist with Chondromalacia patellae (cartilage inflammation below the kneecap.) So, I've been prescribed Physical Therapy for four weeks (twice per week.) I am looking for a good PT or PT practice where I work (Kingstowne/Hayfield) or where I live (Springfield/Burke.) Any recommendations? Thanks much. Chuck
OK, they are the occasional snack for a diabetic. Better than Glucerna or glucose pills, in my opinion, because they are a natural source of fiber and vitamins along with the glucose needed if I have a sugar crash. So, once or twice a week I wind up eating one. Either as a snack or filler.

All the time... Naked Good. And it helps get rid of door-to-door solicitors.
I give out coupons/cards for free food at Burger King, mcDonalds, etc and the phone numbers for social services

Ah, but at the most, I eat 2 apples a week. Mostly if my blood sugar goes down...
I'm tired of wasting a large apple or pear because I am at work, or hiking, and cannot finish the entire fruit. I would much rather buy three small apples that cost as much as one gigantic one (or even a bit more) and not waste half a good fruit. Now, the reason I'd prefer this, is that apples and pears don't keep very well once you get into them and oftentimes I am not near a refrigerator when I am eating them.

I'm in West Springfield
Just venting. It seems the county parks/rec centers don't want their taxpaying citizens to attend. Only the unemployed, retired or kids. There is one class at lunchtime and most of the evening classes are when follks are working. What gives?

My Mom met Bill Cosby in a coffee shop in the 1950's in Greenwhich Village. He asked her on a date to see one of his shows, before he bercame famous.

One of my grandmother's relatives owned a temenement in the lower east side. She rented an apartment to Mary Travers (Peter Paul and Mary.) My Mom met the whole trio a few times when she went to help her collect the rent.

We rented out the ground floor of my parent's first house (I was a teenager then) to Max Hobart, the lead violinist for the Boston Pops. His girlfriend Gail was an opera singer. They are now married and he is a conductor now. I remember waking in the morning to beautiful violin music while he (and sometimes the other) violinists rehearsed.
I met Robin Williams when he was filming "Man of the Year" in 2006. I was working at Comfort One and he came in to buy shoes.

I am related to Buddy Hackett

I went to college with (and met several times) Ralph Sampson

In 1982 I got to hear Ray Bradbury Speak at the Library of Congress. Afterwards I got to speak with him for about 30 minutes.

On Hallween 1983, I drunkenly called Stephen King from a friend's dorm room. I have no idea what we talked about, but I had to pay for a 33 minute long distance call to Maine.

I went to elementary school with Conan O'Brien. His kid sister Kate was in my class, he was a few years ahead of us.
