What do we think will happen on Monday?

You want FCPS to take care of snow piles on side streets?

To these dimwits, FCPS is responsible for everything, everywhere. Anything that is remotely challenging or inconvenient must be FCPS's fault. They won't take responsibility for anything, nor will they admit that the schools can't solve all problems.

Well, if you follow Reid’s rationale, FCPS is part of the community and therefore, should pitch in with their heavy equipment as much as me with my metal shovel.

We live near an elementary school that is about 3 houses off a main road. Main road fine. Side street to school is one lane. School was cleared last Monday with skid steers and plows.

It would be great if FCPS widened the road up for the buses and kiss/ride lanes to work. I get it though, VDOT is responsible for this road and not FCPS. Just Reid’s Friday email talked about everyone pitching in, she’s just not willing to have FCPS help pitch in.
It also might be a legal issue where FCPS is not allowed to clear non property. Just think of possible legal issues if FCPS causes damage to roads, side walks other cars on the street that is state/county(non school) property.

PGCPS no formal announcement yet but their website anticipates a 2 hour delay.

With PWCS and LCPS delayed I would be shocked if it’s a full close

Prince William is NOT delayed. They are CLOSEd for students.

With PWC and MC closed...we know what's likely going to be for FFX...

If LCPS can do a 2 hour delay then we will too.

Nothing is going to change between now and tomorrow, no matter how much you’re out there with your little community shovels. For the love of god Dr Reid, just make a decision.

I'm sure the decision's already made so now they're just papering up their whiny announcement.

Seriously. One more day (because they did say in the announcement that they anticipate opening on Tues!) isn’t going to change anything.
