She was six weeks and three days when she first saw the doctor in Ohio who told her that she couldn’t get an abortion there because Roe had been overturned earlier that week. How soon after that she could get to Indiana for the procedure I’m not sure.

Did anyone question the Ohio doctor? Was it good information?

Are you all really just hearing about this sorry for the first time? There’s 60 pages about it for a reason.

Why does it matter?

What matters is she couldn't get an abortion in her home state because the law as written doesn't make it clear what DEGREE of risk is permissible. All pregnancy carries risk, what's the threshold? What's the age cutoff im Ohio where the doctor isn't risking their license to do it?

Seriously, this is your first time engaging with this news? It happened A YEAR AGO. Read the whole thread and the links in it if you need this level of specificity at this point. It was a very early abortion.

Yes it was “good information” what on earth does that mean? The governor of Ohio even admitted that was consistent with the law.

So the question is…why are you all ok with that?

Their hatred for women is so complete that they would rather a ten year old child suffer through a pregnancy that will, in all likelihood, kill her rather than let safe and legal abortion be the law of the land. It’s misogyny and nothing else.

There are plenty of men out there raping children, and getting girls who are too young to successfully give birth pregnant.

If they can make doctors afraid, they can endanger the lives of even more women. “Death to all women!, the dirty descendants of Eve!” shouted the forced birthers, “Here is to life! May it ever be male and true and important! Death to all women!”

This is ultimately what they want. If a woman is "virtuous" she will survive, but otherwise God will kill her and the man will find a hotter even younger wife to raise his kids, "as God intended."

There are going to be a lot of widower forced birthers and a lot of traumatized little kids before the dust settles on this.

If only EVERY rapist of a child got LIFE in prison, we’d have FAR fewer rapists. Heck, I doubt most of them get ANY prison!!

Any EVIL person who covers for these rapists should go to prison too. Where would that put Planned Parenthood?

Still the largest provider of women’s healthcare in the country?

What about the little girl fetuses who would have been women? PP should care about them, not end their lives.

Why are you marginalizing the lives of the women and girls who are unwillingly hosting those fetuses?

Indiana AG Todd Rokita is the devil incarnate. Only someone so evil would demand a 10 year old carry her rapist's baby to term.
