Really blurs the line when you are talking about other public figures in it. Either write fiction or non fiction. If the abortion story is from the book - could be fact or fiction or embellished fact. Gives her an out as if challenged on anything she can say it was fiction.

And while not specific to her, I think these books about my life written by young 20 somethings are ridiculous.

She has spoken out openly on her own social media and on podcasts about this and the truth of her story. There’s nothing to guess about, she very, very clearly states that he pressured her into having an abortion. So odd that you’re trying to shame a woman for writing a fictional Book based on her own experiences. It’s what many authors do.

He may have wanted her to have an abortion but it was her choice in the end. Just like likely people pressured Liam to use drugs at some point but using them was still his choice.

And I think a fiction but let me trash my ex book is garbage. Either write fiction or write facts. Don’t trash someone and then hide behind but but I said it was fiction.

It isn’t really based on true like if you look at how she describes herself and her background in the boom so I would assume all of it is fiction.

I don’t follow social media so I have no idea what she has said. I was responding to something about how her book talks about being pressured into an abortion…but her book is fiction. Just like a lot of the details about herself that she put in the book. Fiction means not true, made up, not fact. Nothing in the book can be taken as fact or as happening.

This is an incredibly naive take. Women in the U.S. who are pregnant or who have recently given birth are more likely to be murdered than to die from obstetric causes—and these homicides are linked to intimate partner violence. And many of us know a women who has been forced through a pregnancy by their partner as well.

When you have a child, it's not just about you anymore. He should have stayed off drugs/alcohol for his son even if not for himself. That's what caused his death. I would be angry at him not sad - his poor son has to live without his dad.

This. I would never want to give money to someone who pulled this.

Apparently he was dropped by his publicist and record label due to his drug use just days before this.

The combination of legal issues, and his career plummeting and likely other stressors, his addiction and poor mental health, he was alone as his girlfriend had gone home - and then the immediate trigger of being highly intoxicated and he jumped.

It couldn’t have helped to have seen his band mate Niall Hiram’s recent concert and success while his plummeted. This is yet another example of how a young person is not able to handle the instant celebrity and bad influences exposed to in the industry. His relationship with the xfactor judge is troubling as well.

How would you feel if she had done a memoir instead? It’s people like you and the PP who create an environment in which people who are abused and harassed do not speak out. Shameful.

He was clearly in a crisis mode. I wish someone from the hotel had stayed with him until police or medical personnel had arrived. Maybe they could have prevented him from accessing the balcony. Yes, I realize it wasn’t their responsibility but he was clearly under the influence and a danger to himself.

What an odd perspective. You know nothing about this guy except for what you’ve seen in the media and heard on the radio yet you make an assertion like that. It could’ve actually inspired him.

Does it matter? He had the means to recover. He just chose not to.

She is 23. She doesn’t need to write a memoir or book of any kind about her life. And especially not some faux fiction nonsense. She is a spoiled rich kid. She has nothing really of interest to add to the world so she is trying to milk her 15 minutes of fame from dating a boy band member. If she wanted to report abuse and harassment, there were many legal channels for that. Not by writing a fiction book but then leading people to believe that some of the book is true. Liam isn’t here to tell his side of the story or respond to what is fiction or not.

Abortion can haunt the would-be fathers just as much as it can haunt the would-be mothers. Even years later.

From the mother of Liam’s child.

Just remember that the world was changed by a young girl whose diary became a publication of her traumas.

Who are you to say who can and can’t write memoirs? Unless you know both of these people personally you’re making asinine statements with no backing.

He wasn't really cut out for being a solo artist, he was a group/ backing singer at best. I think the promise of success was offered after 1D broke up, but it wasn't really a reality, not for this guy sadly.
