This is an incredibly naive take.  Women in the U.S. who are pregnant or who have recently given birth are more likely to be murdered than to die from obstetric causes—and these homicides are linked to intimate partner violence. And many of us know a women who has been forced through a pregnancy by their partner as well.  [/quote]
