If I thought my husband was banging his young pretty tutor, I wouldn't go away for the weekend knowing he would be spending time with her.

I think many posters pointed out from your descriptions of what he's said about it, your gut feeling and the circumstances, that there is a high likelihood there is something other than tutoring going on.

I would not have been able to go out of town. I would have been spying on this situation myself.

OP again, thanks. I talked to him about it and am satisfied nothing funny was going on. She was heading to the gym afterwards, which is why she had the duffle bag.

$300 for a single lesson? Of 30 minutes to an hour, or how long? It sounds very high, but if you check online you'll see that one on one language tutors can be anywhere from $30 to $75 per hour. If you saw such a charge, OP, well, ASK him rather than letting yourself fret and come up with scenarios in your head. That sounds to me like a fee for several lessons, paid all at once.

It's the going rate around here for a 1/2 hour to an hour of sex. Not sure about a language tutor. That seems really high for that.

We each have our own bank accounts in addition to the joint account. That’s how we’ve always done it. I found an ATM receipt on his desk from that morning morning that showed a $300 withdrawal from his account. She likes to get paid in cash evidently. I don’t monitor what he pays since I know he generally is not an extravagant spender.
