I dont. Between the lack of fuel, expired rations, lack of rations, lack of water, dry rotted tires, lack of communication equipment, use of conscripts and cadets, and kevlar without the armor plate the idea that they werent given warm socks seems very plausible and likely. The frostbite reports, which come directly from intercepted Russian troop comminications, also mention that those with frostbite are not being treated or sent to field hospitals.

I forgot to add. There's also a lack of tents so they're sleeping outside.

Also if you sleep in an armored vehicle you need to run it to stay warm. Without fuel you can not run the vehicle and you get frost bit.

RE: Russian “Kadets:”

There is proof Russia has fielded student cadets in combat. Their epaulets bear a distinctive “K.” They have been found on numerous Russians killed in action.

The equivalent would be an ROTC student who has not completed their military training, but has been sent to the front to die.

The Russian army is in desperate shape.

The Ukrainians also used one of their ballistic missiles to destroy a fully-loaded, Alligator-class heavy troop-transport ship in port in the Crim. The Russians were obviously desperate for the supplies, now destroyed.

The port of Berdyansk is now out of commission.

I am the one who pointed out the poster is Jewish. It matters because:

- Putin has demanded Ukraine undergo “de-Nazification” - except Ukraine is led by a fairly elected Jewish leader, and there are virtually NO nazis in Ukraine.

I said “virtually” because, technically, a tiny number of neo-nazis exist in the US, more in Russia itself, and probably a tiny number in Ukraine.

But only an utter fool - a true idiot - would make the argument the US is a “Nazi country,” that Russia is a “Nazi country,” or “Ukraine is a Nazi country.”

This “nazi” argument is the most idiotic claim I’ve heard from a world leader recently.

Maybe network journalist George Stephanopoulis can better explain the complete absurdity of Russia’s false claim that Ukraine is somehow a “nazi regime”
