He is getting more like Kim Jong-Un. Kim Jong-Un must be feeling very flattered.

It's such an impotent threat. He's not going to get the reaction he's looking for.

Putin does actually need to test things since so little of his military equipment seems to work. šŸ™‚šŸ˜¬

too late to saber rattling, aside from the PR, sanctions and so on, this war has been a disaster for Russia, even if they eventually manage to prevail, the war showed to the world that their armny truly sucks, that their equipment does not work that well, solders are not well trained and motived and so on. they are good at flattening cities with un-armed civilians inside or lightly armed rebels, at fighing using war-crimes and at using lawless mercenaries . this war made clear that if they fought against a well equipped army they woul lose and badly (nuke aside). everybody saw it and Putin knows

russia sees this clearly too. How long would it take russia to fix house given its vast oil & gas revenue if they put their effort into it? 3-6 years? Add to that nuclear capability and its possible that we’re looking at freezing & re-engagement in wider conflict in 5-6 years.

Ukraine reportedly hit another ship in the Black Sea Fleet with Neptune missiles. Currently on fire; fingers crossed that it sinks.

The ship is the Admiral Makarov, their newest battleship, launched in 2017. Before this news, analysts said that after the Moskva, the Admiral Makarov would be the juiciest target due to its modern features.

Side note: It will be difficult to replace Russian ships in the future, as the ship engines were built in Ukraine. Ukraine stopped supply Russia with the engines after the 2014 invasion of the Donbas.

Russian generals and officers lied to their own troops at every step:

https://news.yahoo.com/deceived-us-every-step-troops-122642378.html

Equipment did not work. Logistical failures were the norm. Idiotic tactics.

Putin’s military is in shambles.

Also, news that we helped sink the Moskva was just confirmed.

ā€œIntelligence shared by the U.S. helped Ukraine sink the Russian cruiser Moskva, U.S. officials told NBC News, confirming an American role in perhaps the most embarrassing blow to Vladimir Putin’s troubled invasion of Ukraine.

A guided missile cruiser carrying a crew of 510, the Moskva was the flagship of Russia’s Black Sea Fleet. It sank on April 14 after being struck by two Ukrainian Neptune anti-ship missiles, U.S. officials said. Moscow said the vessel sank after a fire. The Moskva was the largest Russian warship sunk in combat since World War II. American officials said there were significant Russian casualties, but they don’t know how many.ā€

Russia: vacate the Crimea or your forces will be removed militarily:

https://www.reuters.com/world/europe/scholz-biden-agree-not-acknowledge-russian-territorial-gains-2022-05-05/

I do not see any equivocation in this joint US/German statement.

All of the Donbass region belongs to Ukraine. All of Crimea belongs to Ukraine. NATO military support to Ukraine will continue until both regions have been de-Russified.

As to the Russian-speaking people who are pro-Russia in the Donbass?

- they have overwhelmingly been issued Russian passports, which grants them Russian citizenship - but Ukraine does NOT recognize dual citizenship.

Therefore, they must all be deported to Russia.
