| Ugh, are you the same people who keep breathing life into those stupid Kane threads? Get a life. You are ruining this forum. Go back to Babycenter or Celebitchy. Scat! |
They'll wear what they want, just like you! |
+1000 The obsession with that family that is propped up as "figure heads" while essentially living off their stolen money from years of plundering countries around the world and off the people of a country they don't have any authority to govern. All the while still expecting to be treated as royalty as if they are still the monarchs. |

By some accounts, they have a team of nannies. I would consider that "over the top" outsourcing. And to the other PP: I live in Nova, I have frequented this site since 2010, and I also go to Celebitchy. There have been dozens of Kate threads, long before those mouth breathing Kane people found this site. So neither i nor any of the other people who also frequent Celebitchy need to go anywhere. Besides - those commenters are deeply annoying. What a circle backpat. So to speak. |
That picture is from their daughters christening. That uniform is her 'dress uniform' that she would wear for special occasions. It's a very prestigious school and she wears it with pride, just like military dress uniforms. |
PP, you are wrong. Princess Diana spent time with her kids and more than just "photo ops." It may not have been the way she was raised, but Charles was sent to boarding school very young at age 10. I don't really care if Kate Middleton has a nanny or not. But she's not just there for the occasional helping out at public ceremonies. She is like part of the family and probably spends as much time with the kids if not more than their parents.

NP. Since your mother didn't live off taxpayers and expect elderly people to curtsey to her and call her "Your Highness" and "Ma'am" I don't care how she lived. Taking care of a family and household is as honorable a way to live as any. I do think your dear mother should have taught you a richer vocabulary and how to use your words. |
They are not just figureheads. What about Prince Charles's "black spider" letters to MPs? Or that this family is exempt from the freedom of information act and inheritance taxes? Or that the queen can never be prosecuted for any crime, ever? Or that they cost the British taxpayer $3 billion a year at a time of austere severity cuts? That Will and Kate kicked a charity out of a section of Kensington Palace, spent almost $5 million in tax money renovating it and then decided they'd rather live in the country. You really should get your news from something other than People magazine. And if you have no problem with another country's head of state -- by operation of law -- necessarily being white and male for the indefinite future, you must have been A-ok with apartheid-era South Africa. The really bad thing is that people like you have resulted in the election we have before us this year. |
NP. I thought it was an excellent use of words. Vivid and conveyed her intended meaning perfectly. |
Chill, PP. We fought a war because we didn't want the British royals to be our head of state, not because we didn't want them to be anyone's head of state. |
| Her kids are too young. Give her a break. I bet she'll figure it out in 10 years or so. |

I do not understand these vituperative attacks. She does extremely well in her position -- which is not rocket scientist. She is a pretty serious amateur photographer, she's quite athletic, and she has chosen mental health as an area to focus on. She has also done a lot for British fashion.
She seems to genuinely be an extrovert, and she smiles a lot. And, I don't know how many nannies they have, but it seems clear that she and William spend a fair amount of time with their kids. She is doing well at everything her role requires. If you don't think that there should be such a role; fine. But why take it so personally? What's not to like? |
Her post wasn't directed at me but you think threatening to assault someone is a legitimate means of expressing yourself? |
