I divorced my rich H for a man who actually loved me for me.

Then I found out he was also a cheater. Now that I know all men lie and cheat, I wish I had just stayed with the rich one. At least I didn’t have to work and I could buy whatever I wanted.

The main difference is cheap/downscale neighborhoods In Western Europe are a lot more palatable to live in than in the us.

Being downwardly mobile/poor comes with a host of headaches that you don’t get in Western Europe regarding safety, food supply, Walkability etc.

I the us, the issue with being poor/downwardly mobile isn’t that you can’t buy material things like wealthier people can.

It is that you end up getting stuck in awful neighborhoods/schools that are just more dangerous and unpleasant in day to day life.

This is going to be the new normal for first time homeowners who aren’t already intergenerationally loaded and didn’t buy before 2021.

PP. With the Internet, it’s ALL men. They will all solicit pictures from women, send pictures, sext, whatever. It’s now so easy to hide I don’t think any man will remain faithful.

I know one woman who did it right - she found a man who was ambitious but poor, and helped him build and run several multi million dollar companies. They are filthy rich, and if he ever leaves her, she gets half and will be set for life. Or like what the Whole 30 couple did - he left her for someone else and she got the entire company. So if you’re smart, find a man who will do the work but make sure you’re on the paperwork.

Generally speaking, immigrants of all ethnicities likely have an overrepresented genetic predisposition to be more restless, less satisfied with the status quo and a greater willingness to take risks. This is a great fitness payoff in the larger, evolutionary context, but has plenty of drawbacks at the personal level. Until these populations experience a high enough degree of genetic assimilation (which for non-orthodox U.S. Jews will likely happen within the next couple of generations if it hasn't happened already), you're going to more easily identify these sorts of differences between groups. I don't think it's fundamentally bigoted to notice and try to explain differences between ethnic groups if you can do it dispassionately, but humans aren't great at this b/c we are a status-obsessed species.

I did that but as soon as he started making money he became verbally and physically abusive and refused to pay for things & said I was working & his money was his.

You're missing the point. Even if it's true that downwardly mobile whites are "better off" in Europe (very doubtful as Europe's "cheap/downscale neighborhoods" are filling up with violent, stupid Third World refugees), downwardly mobile American whites don't have the resources to get to those "better" low-end European neighborhoods in the first place. There is also the language issue - downwardly mobile American whites aren't going to learn German, French, or Polish so they can relocate. When all is taken with all, downwardly mobile American whites are better off in flyover country parts of the USA.

My point was regarding downwardly mobile mc/lmc people who grew up umc (like op). So they have usually decent educations/openess to experience that lend themselves well to such a move.

There are loads of people like this and their numbers are swelling.
