Plus, the most important thing is always to figure out what individual is at fault and punish them. They're much more interested in the criminal than the victim. Just look at this thread, the prolifers all want to know the details of who committed the crime and whether her parents are sufficiently awful people that they can rest assured this wont happen to them or theirs (because they only associate with nice people). Zero concern or sympathy expressed for the actual child.

Yeah they don't actually believe in innocent victims. If bad things happen to good people, how can they be sure nothing bad will ever happen to them?

What kind of person would talk to the press about this 10 yo? The kind of person who wants the public to understand the real life negative consequences of policies they support. The kind of person who wants legislators to know the real life consequences of legislation. The kind of person who knows there are other underage kids in similar situations and is speaking out so that those other abused kids and their allies know that there is help for them and they still have choices, although access is harder despite people being willing to help.

The kind of person who knows who the real victims of the forced birthers are going to be. Not savvy 30-somethings with passports and disposable income. Not college students whose parents will help them. It’s going to be children. Victims of crime. Innocents. The very same people the sickos claim to be trying to save. Publicizing each and every story like this should be shaming to the people who are passing these laws, and those that are saying “eh, not a dealbreaker”

I mean these people still embrace Josh Duggar even though he molested his sisters. We all know exactly how much they care about victims of child abuse and incest.
