I’m 44 and have dated a half dozen women aged 21-25 over the past 5 years since being single again. They like dating me because they know it’s not serious and is a fun 2-6 months . If there’s a power imbalance it’s definitely in their favor.

They also have all said once we’ve moved on that I treat them with more kindness and respect than the average 22yo does.

In my twenties I'd never have chosen a guy twice my age over a guy in my age range unless the older one could treat me to things/experiences that guys my age normally couldn't.

I can and do those things and still most women in their 20s won't choose me. But I don't want to date every woman, just one and a time and in this area there are many who will.
