42. 2 min. But i can do 5 reps with 1-2 min each with a tiny break between. I also do planks on the pilates reformer with moving legs and elbows etc. extra effort for the core.
I cant run. But i have good core and endurance and can lose 10 lbs. |

To this posters credit I am in good but not spectacular shape (ran a 10k in 1:04:38 last month, 38 YO woman, BMI 28). I thought I was in the 3 minute range but just actually got on the floor and crossed the two line but was struggling at the end. I am amazed by the 5-10 minute people, are you on your knees by any chance? I do a TON of core and cardio and planks and was disappointed in myself! |
I took my college athletes on to my yoga class, and he thought he was gonna die. So yes, a college student who gets up at 6 AM every morning and lifts with trainers, and then practices three hours a day running with the team cannot do my one hour yoga class. |
Well I am at work but could do it tonight. but then you'll accuse me of stealing someone else's video. You are welcome to come to my house and watch me do it but you have to bring wine. |

55F, I get bored. I don't understand what is supposed to be hard about it. If you are balanced it is effortless. |

It depends on whether I'm actively working on it. I wanted to hold a plank for a long time and got up to 6 minutes. Then I read that it's really not the best use of time to work on holding planks for a long time. So I quit. I could probably do 2-3 minutes now. I am 43. |
I’m one of the 5 min middle aged (ugh that hurt to type) pps. Of course not on my knees. I’m a Pilates instructor. And yes, I did it again while reading these posts for funsies. Definitely couldn’t do 10 though! |
56 female. Longest ever was four minutes. Usually three is my best. |
