10 year old girl has to travel out of state to get abortio

Looking at my tall 10 year old. I have no idea how a body that size can physically handle any part of pregnancy

Bravo!

Ever think of what will happen if your daughter gets pregnant when in high school or college and she is forced to have a child she does not want and how she became pregnant is immaterial. Maybe your son will impregnate his girlfriend and you force them to get married and ruin their lives

I also blame you and all those who force your religious crap down the throats of the rest of us.

May you receive all the things that you so richly deserve and may they come soon and in spades.

Who would provide information to the press about a 10 year old child who is clearly already in a hideous living situation? What type of people grab hold of this story? How about throwing the garage that did this to her and/or allowed this to happen in jail? As should be the case across this country. Outrage on abortion but never, ever any outrage at how children are abused in this country.

People on this thread are outraged at both. But honestly that child has probably lived in a hellish household for a long time. And it seems like red states don’t care that she was raped because they care more about her unborn child, who is probably also her sibling, than her mental or physical well-being. Red states see her as a vessel to carry a baby, not a traumatized person.

What do you propose the government do to prevent child sexual abuse? Child abuse happens in all kinds of families- rich, poor.

In other countries, social workers visit parents from the time the baby is born to make sure the parents are equipped to take care of them. Do you want to make that kind of investment and pay those taxes? We have an overwhelmed and terrible foster care system- where are we going to put kids whose parents are bad?

What kind of person would talk to the press about this 10 yo? The kind of person who wants the public to understand the real life negative consequences of policies they support. The kind of person who wants legislators to know the real life consequences of legislation. The kind of person who knows there are other underage kids in similar situations and is speaking out so that those other abused kids and their allies know that there is help for them and they still have choices, although access is harder despite people being willing to help.

There is a process to bring justice to the rapist that is already in motion, and it doesn't seem that there is widespread support for child-rapers.

Neither of these is true for the flaming sh!tshow of christofacism that is the SCOTUS.

I'm sorry, are you saying she could have consented?

Well, if the male is also 10 and they did it on purpose, I guess

Our oldest daughter (and our marriage) is the product of a scenario just as you describe. And in hindsight we wouldn’t trade that for anything. It gave us the children and marriage we have today, 21 years later.

I guess you don't know the difference between "legally consented," and not.

In your case the boy didn’t "legally consent" either then. She’s guilty of rape too.

Good for you. Mind your own business and don't force your anecdotes on others.

Please show me where her father is also this baby’s father. Don’t project your screwed up family to this case

If we weren't so soft on pedos and rapists, death penalty
