| SSSA lost their first game? To a non-IAC team? What's happening? |
| Say what you want about Giblin. He's a great coach on the field. Go DJO! |
Giblin is a great coach. He may not have a volume switch, but his heart has always been in the right place. As a Giblin supporter, I do understand why Prep could not hire him back, but that does not take away what he did for the school and the lacrosse program. |
| What was the result in the gonzaga - stalbans game yesterday? |
|
Final was 10-4.
STA played them pretty tight in the first half. (6-2 at the half) |
No one cares what has-been d-bags like you think. |
Different poster but totally agree. You can see it happening already a few games into the 2017 season. |
Doesn't know what he's talking about. Brags about his high school lax team from the 1980s Always thinks he knows better than any coach God help you if you have to stand next to him at a game |
| It's a STA dad with a kid on the team |
| If he is a stalbans dad, he should chill. Rory's going to be all right. |
The new STA coach will be all right. His last gig was in Cali, where lax as anything more than a reference to the airport is like a foreign word. Now in the belly of the lax beast, he'll find his IAC sea legs by midseason, and should eek out a better record than STA has seen in awhile (at or near .500). But it's the new coaches at SJC and Prep who have impressed me the most so far. Have seen SJC play twice, and Prep once this season. Both coaches displayed great leadership and skills. |
| PP. What impressed you, in particular, about the SJC coach? My DS will be attending SJC in the Fall and he plays for one of the competitive clubs in the area. |
| Prep has played nobody. They will struggle in the IAC |
| I think the HC at The Heights may also be coming into his own. Nice win against GC the other day. More to follow. |
Let's see . . . I wouldn't count them out. |
