Why do you say that? |
VLC has more public school kids than the other elite clubs in the area. But as PP observed, there are a lot of private schools represented as well. For a while VLC was synonymous with PVI.. |
Does anyone have any current news on the coaching situation at SJC? We know the prior coach, Trig, was let go. Thanks. |
Why not just ask the school, you freak? |
And you based this on what? BW, VLC and Madlax all have a mix of private and public kids. It varies, dependsing on the grade. None of those three are known for having more public or more private kids than the others. |
Just be nice ![]() |
Next Level seems to be made up almost exclusively of private school kids. DC Express may be catering to MoCo. |
No, Next Level has plenty of public school kids. They only have one good team.
DC express is performance kids, so that club is filledpstly with public kids. |
Not true either. /s/ Parent of DC Express player. |
DC Express 2021 has a few very good players and it's a good team. Rest of the club is garbage. |
what is wrong with you? do you really go around and call kids garbage? If they aren't great players say that but at least these kids aren't sitting around doing nothing. |
Like most clubs in the DMV, it is a mix of public and private school kids. Loudoun & Fairfax public schools are represented, as well as the gamut of private schools in the area (Landon, SSSA, Paul VI, O'Connell, St. Albans, Gonzaga, etc.) Depending on the year your son plays, it may skew more towards private vs. public. |
How do you know which prospect programs are worth it. DC was just invited to Elite 100 Lacrosse as well as other programs. Is their a site that list them? |
None of the top club teams have more public school team members than priavte school players, none. Its still largely a private school sport. |
You can Google, but often these reviews are promotions in disguise. The best resource I've found is word of mouth, coupled with proof in the pudding results. Prep School Showcase comes to mind. Jake Reed used to be the Gold Standard, but there are many out there who have exceeded his product. Hoping others with current experience can chime in. |
