Well, their job ends for the year on June 30, so that's the deadline. But there's definitely a general "season" of movement, which creates a domino effect. Unless they're leaving the county, principals don't leave until they've pursued and been accepted in another position. So there's no deadline for them to announce to their superiors--they already know.

Amy Councilman would be a wonderful pick. Currently at the school, long time SDT at White Oak MS, AP at B-CC and now AP at Farquhar. Another Farquhar AP is becoming a principal intern, so they really need continuity. Very warm person, knows MS kids, strong ally for POC/ESOL students.
