I was the Holton parent to comment "keep it classy" but there was no report or case made by me. Honestly there is no reason to talk about specific boys or girls on this thread and you really shouldn't need a moderator to tell you that. That should be obvious to anyone with good judgement.

Maybe one of the "crazy Holton parents" didn't think it was ok to name their high school daughter by name and you're complaining because you want to keep doing it? May I suggest therapy to help you step away from this thread and your insatiable need to know everything about high school sports and the kids playing them?

You are missing the point. Its a point on gender bias - boys are named on here constantly so why the double standard when girls are named?

Some parents are more sensitive about their kid's privacy than others, and they are the ones who report posts that bother them. The moderator doesn't monitor every thread on DCUM. I'm sure he's just deleting in response to specific posts being reported. The named boys' parents may not know or care about these posts. If your kid is a high level boy player at a top program, you are probably used to debates about their ranking/abilities and consider it part of the territory. But it's not like Holton is some powerhouse program, so families wouldn't expect the scrutiny.

That's my theory anyway. Holton may also just have a more diligent person in charge of monitoring online info about the school.

No point was missed. If you read the response I said that there was no reason to talk about specific boys or girls. In the end, you also don't get to decide on what is removed from the thread.

I always post on the boys game but agree with everyone here. There is no reason to throw names out of High School players, boys or girls, on an anonymous thread. If you wanna call out names, sign your own to the post. Period.

The Saint Stephens transfer who left after his junior season was poached and didn’t leave his school on the best terms.

No. The Bullis kid left, but was not poached. The Heights goalie was poached by Landon. As was the Michigan middie who was STA's best player. He was actively poached by Landon.

he was denied admission at a few other IAC schools.

How bout the 5 other transfers Bullis brought in this off-season for lacrosse from (Wootton, Sidwell SJC and others)... did they just decide to leave their current schools all at once too?

Bullis is actively offering free rides to lacrosse players. I know this for a fact.

I know and like the Bullis transfer from SJC. He was coached by Bobby Horsey and the McGills (Bullis assistant Coaches) in club lax and as a freshman at SJC. They are the coaches who recruited him to SJC. He re-joined his favorite coaches, good for him. Great kid, sorely missed at SJC. (I have a son in SJC's program)

Don't forget the DeMatha PG who came as a SENIOR to Landon just to play one season of basketball.

Bullis will smoke the league this year. Period. Can’t wait to see them send Landon’s coach off with a loss.

I'd be ashamed if my kid went to Bullis.

Bullis accepted a lax player essentially asked to leave saint Stephens - Period.

Two years ago, your administration accepted a Tranfer who attended 4 different schools in four years.

Bobby Horsey and McGill are punks. Money grabbing club coaches.

No one receives full scholarships at any IAC schools. Financial aid is based on need and students transfer for numerous reasons. Some students/lax players just want new surroundings, while some are interested in a certain coach, others leave their school due to a conflict with a coach or a coach leaves for another school. Leave the kids alone that transfer and just discuss lacrosse.

Any scrimmages tomorrow? I'm sure the privates have something Saturday or very soon. If anyone attends please post details.

Thanks

You are wrong because Bullis does offers full athletic scholarships. I know this for a fact. And to kids whose parents can easily afford the full tuition. They are desperately trying to build heir sport teams.
