And turns out she wasn’t “crazy” after all. It’s the picture he paints of her to the current girlfriend.

Agree. The problem is that when an ex communicates this, it just makes her look bad. Why does she care?

Because she wants to expose the cheater duh but women aren't that picky if the guy is rich. They accept a liar if he has some money because women are just prostitutes like that.

I didn't date in high school, but cheating was pretty common. I personally don't put a lot of stock in high school dating behavior 25+ absolutely though.

Why not?
Works for some.
Love isn’t limited to people who are perfect.
Flawed, fukked up people can be in love and be loved too.

You guessed wrong but also because they think it won't happen to them or that they're different than the other spouse and it was the other spouse's fault. Then they realize it's a pattern, and GL picking up the pieces.

He was so vehemently anti-cheating. He was scarred by it.

He cheated on me and had a full-blown affair at 45-48 years old.

Never saw it coming. So out of character.

People change over a 20 year period.

More likely a mid life crisis

Yep, and it's an evolutionary preference. Females of all species look for mates that exhibit high fertility (technically fecundity), because it means their kids will have high fertility. Women who used that strategy got more decendents, and passed the same preference to their daughters.

But haven't you also said he had a one-night stand or something like that early in your marriage that you forgave, or am I thinking of another dcum'er?

I know right. When this guy and the one one who talked about alpha men write this stuff, it’s like this is all facts as opposed to theories proposed by some people, and then many go on to say that this is what ALL men believe. Most times I ignore this stuff but sometimes it’s just annoying that they believe their view is what all men believe unless there’s something wrong with those men.
