If you weight between 100-120 lbs how many calories do you eat a day?

Anonymous
This was a typical day;

coffee w/half n half (100 cal?)

almond milk/protein/banana smoothie (300)

seaweed snack (50)

bowl of turkey chili with brown rice, avocado and glass of wine ; small green salad (600?)

contemplating a small bowl of frozen yogurt

45 minutes peloton; 35 minutes walking the dog.

I'm around 115-117

I have no idea. Once I stopped counting, it became easy to stay my ideal weight.

I am about 115 pounds but I am 5' tall. I have never counted calories but I am somewhat conscious of what I am consuming. I know generally not to consume a ton of carbs and starches and I prefer to eat lots of meats and vegetables.

Breakfast: usually an egg white and a trader joe's hash brown (and sometimes with pork bacon)
Lunch: usually a salad (no cream based dressings) or just leftovers from dinner if I made a larger meal.
Dinner: This can vary. My easy go-to is a baked chicken thigh and broccoli or some kind of vegetable.

I also eat out about twice a week and I work out 4x a week.

5’2” and 107lbs. I do IF and limit snacks. Typically drink a cup of coffee with cream and two sugar cubes for breakfast. Big lunch around 12, medium dinner at 5 normally ending with a small dessert (ice cream or a cookie). So two meals and hardly any snacks. Have a few drinks on the weekends, but try to stay strict about not eating after dinner.

I could probably eat more if I exercised routinely but I mostly just stay active chasing kids around and doing chores and the occasional pickle ball.

I have absolutely no idea because I haven't counted calories since I was in my early 20s and anorexic. I eat when hungry, don't drink calories except the occasional wine, and generally eat whole foods with some garbage occasionally. If I had to guess, 1500-2000/day? Some days more, some less.

If i had to guess probably 3,000 a day?

The people who weigh this don’t count calories because they don’t have to.

I don’t count calories, but I try to eat healthy with very little sugar and low carb. That works best for me I have found. I usually start the day with a protein smoothie or a plain Greek yogurt with berries, nuts and flax. For lunch I always have a protein - usually in a salad and rotate between salmon, chicken, shrimp and eggs. Lots of lettuce and vegetables. For dinner it’s protein again - usually whatever my kids are eating but I try to make it lower carb for me. 2-3 cups of coffee, sometimes a flavored sparkling water but never juice, soda or high sugar drinks. Very little alcohol - maybe 1x a month.

Gosh this sounds like torture. I am 5-2 and 112 and I absolutely eat three meals.

Are you trying to lose weight? This looks like extreme diet calorie intake and food choices.

+1 I’m 5’4” and 110 and I eat 3 meals plus at least 2 snacks. But I also work out 5 days a week.

I weigh 120ish, maybe closer to 125. I try to stay around 1550 calories on weekdays and 1750 on weekends. I exercise 5x a week.

If my weight creeps up I will try to cut back to closer to 1450 for a bit, but doing that long term or going lower than that is unsustainable for me. I also have weighed as little as 110, but again, was unsustainable for me unless I made my whole life revolve around calorie cutting. Not interested.

That's not very many calories. Maybe 800-1000 depending on the leftovers.
