If you weight between 100-120 lbs how many calories do you eat a day? |
I am about 115 but naturally thin, exercise 3-4x a week, and don’t count calories. Healthy breakfast, relatively healthy lunch, and go out to eat at least once on weekends and takeout once a week too. I drink sparingly, no soda or juice either. |

I don't know, I've never counted calories. But I only eat when I'm hungry, and I stop when I feel full (usually leaving some of the plate.) Usually have two meals and one snack. |
Only recently 118, because of Ozempic (formerly 160+ and I'll leave it at that). Also short, 5'2" and am eating less than 1,000 calories a day. This is the only way for me to lose and maintain weight. I eat protein morning, noon and night (cottage cheese, whatever leftover protein from last night's dinner in my salad for lunch, and dinner is protein and vegetables). No carbs (rarely and minimal), occasionally avocado, and use EVOL for cooking |
I don't count but it's got to be 2000+. I eat breakfast, lunch, dinner and several snacks. This seems to work for me for maintenance. (I'm closer to 120 and not that tall at 5'4) I only eat when I'm hungry put I seem to be hungrier than a normal person.
I do like 2 Peloton rides 5 or 6 days per week to make up for my sedentary desk job, but nothing hardcore. |
Before kids, I weighed 108, after kids I weigh 112. I used to eat 1500-1800 calories per day. Now, I'm more sedentary, I eat 1000-1500 calories a day.
Because of metabolic issues, I now eat 4-5 times a day, snacks and small meals. I used to eat basically 2 meals a day, now I have small 3 meals and 1 or 2 small snacks. |
I also don’t count but, for me, it would vary quite a bit from day to day. Some days I’m really hungry and others I don’t have much of an appetite. |
very similar. I'm like barely 5'. I was 127lbs at my heaviest. I was eating and snacking quite a bit. I changed my diet a bit and starting exercising more. usually oatmeal for breakfast smallish lunch -- not too fatty, but I do still eat frozen foods from Trader Joes snack -- usually like popcorn, pita crackers, hummus smallish dinner Eat out once or twice a week. Occasionally have a small dessert. It's about portion size. I now weigh 115. I did get down to like 112, but I seem to have gained 3lbs back somehow. |
I’m technically 122 right now, age 45, have always been under 120 my whole life up until now. I don’t count calories, I usually have a light breakfast or skip, skip lunch but have snacks, and a small dinner. I eat whatever I want whenever. If it’s something I enjoy, like pizza, I could have three slices in one sitting. I’m 5’3”. I don’t think of myself as healthy btw, just thin. I need to exercise more. |

Hon, I feel for you. This is miserable. You can gain a few pounds and still be a perfectly acceptable weight for 5' 2"! I just worry that this can't last. |

Basically this shows that people between 100-120 are genetically petite/thin, and it’s not a struggle. These people are a small percent of the population. For everyone else who tries to be thin, which is often 120-140lbs depending on height, it takes a lot of discipline and avoiding certain foods plus regular exercise! |
120 ish and 50. I don't count calories but I'd guess in the 1500-1600 range just knowing ballpark of calories in things. Some days it's probably closer to 2000+ but honestly I really don't know. Or care. |
