2022 DC Express beat Crabs at UNC on Saturday

As long as Landon doesn't hire that douchebag defensive coach (who left after last season), they'll be ok.

Let's hear the excuses.

Not a DC Express parent, but what does that prove. Box lacrosse is very different.

I think the objective is to put the ball in the other team's goal, right? Sounds kinda like field lacrosse.

Indeed...However, fewer players, smaller goals, smaller playing area, much bigger goalie padding, and more contact do make it a very different game than the field variety. Love me some Box lacrosse!

Box lax is a much quicker game. There's no real dodging from up top or x. The ball moves quickly because the space is small and defenders are right on you. Players have to make a quick move and shoot. Stick quickness and instinctive moves (as opposed to over thinking) are crucial.

Interesting. Sounds like futsal v soccer.

Healy is getting the job. God, people on this forum are uninformed idiots. Makes me want to agree that the thread should be killed.

Prep has been down for 4 years and they will finish no higher than #4 again this year. The drying up of the Mater Dei pipeline has that program reeling.

Prep will be a lot better than people think this year and I’m not buying all the Bullis hype either.

They assembled a team of all stars this past football season, comprised of several upper classmen transfers and couldn’t find a way to win the league when on paper they were the best team in the league.

GP looked extremely athletic and physical at the Landon tournament a few weeks back.

Fall tourneys meannothing. The prep coach still hasn’t proven himself.
Bullis lax is fired up and looking for payback.

By that definition, so is soccer. Don't be so ignorant.

Prep lunatics have been touting their 2019 and 2020 classes for a few years, and they have accomplished nothing. Landon, Bullis and SSSAS are far better teams on paper. Prep should focus on reducing their crushing debt.

Prep's 2020 and 2019 classes will be able to showcase their talent this spring. When they are freshman and sophomores, you can't ask them to do much when they are going against kids 3years older than them.

Unlike some schools, GP's 2020 and 2019 classes are comprised of home grown talent and kids who have been at the school since freshman year. They don't need to poach kids from other programs.

Has Landon put out an announcement to confirm?
