I’ll try to get us back on track.

IAC
#1 Bullis vs #4 GP
#2 Landon vs #3 SSSA

Final Landon over Bullis
Sends their coach out with 1 more

WCAC
#1 Gonzaga vs #4 Dematha
#2 St John’s vs #3 PVI

Final Gonzaga vs SJC
Payback game for the Purple

Haha. Thanks for getting us back to the petty in-conference bickering.

These are good picks. I'd differ in that I think SSSA might be able to pick off Landon, mostly because of their face off, but also because they have a very solid senior class. The face off and goalie position in my opinion can elevate an above average team to a great one. I also think Bullis will win the IAC this year. That said, Landon does have Bordley retiring, which could have a bigger impact than I'm giving credit.

I also think PVI will beat St. Johns, but lose to Gonzaga in the finals. It was a perfect storm last year for st johns. Down year for Gonzaga and Damatha, PVI playing with several hurt impact players, new coach, a stellar defense/face-off, and an excellent senior class. They won't be quite as good this year, PVI will be solid provided they can stay healthy, Gonzaga should be better, and Damatha has a few big, strong middies returning.

PVI has a new coach? Who?

I could see mini IMG academy winning the IAC regular season. While Bullis might be very talented on paper, it will be interesting to see if there high profile transfers mesh well together on the offensive end of the field.

Landon has the best player in The country on its roster and always tends to reload so you can’t ever rule them out.

My dark horse team is GP. They are deep and very athletic. They had a down season last spring but showed their potential when they play well together they can best almost anyone (see IMG game from Catholic U last spring). Saint Stephens has a stud fogo and solid senior classs as well so they should surprise some teams this spring but don’t think they have the depth or horses to run with GP, Landon or Bullis.

As always injuries and which teams are healthy down the stretch is what everyone needs to keep an eye on.

Now that is an informative post. Thanks.

If this is Bordley's last year, who takes the Landon job next year?

His son JR? Ian Healey? Outside guy? Bobby Horsey?

Anyone with insight?

I seriously doubt Landon would bring in an outside coach. I think your picks are likely and JR probably gets the nod.

Word on the street is Cabel Maddux will be the new head coach of Landon

OMG that would be absolutely terrible. They could not make a worse choice especially from a character and reputation perspective.

Coach Healy is a great person and a solid coach.

I heard the Crabs crushed DC Express 14-7 in box lacrosse on Sunday.

Let's hear the excuses.

Not a DC Express parent, but what does that prove. Box lacrosse is very different.
