It's not a crime to be made uncomfortable. Who are you people.?

For starters a civil lawsuit against a hospital isn’t criminal court. Seems she was sexually harassed by a medical resident, then he used her medical chart to cyberstalk her (HIPPA violation), then he took his life and now his family is suggesting it was her fault??? That’s a lot of trauma!!! $$$

The family alleges the school effed up. They aren't suing her.

Totally innocuous to note the gal was seeing him for STD check. Totally not an attempt to insinuate she’s a promiscuous and lying western whore making false allegations against a high caste future surgeon.

Med student asked inappropriate sexual questions to patient and asked to follow on instagram. Also offered to do a pap. The patient reported it- he was investigated and committed suicide. Parents are suing the med school. How do we prevent Larry Nassar’s? It seems like schools can’t win.

This is weird. The patient was there for STD help. What kind of questions are not supposed to be asked?
Also, why did the patient bring up her Instagram account at all?

Seems like entrapment.

Is the real law broken that he was seeing patients solo before fully graduating and having full doctor or residency completion license?

That’s the hospital’s breach.

Who disclosed why the patient was visiting the clinic? Isn’t that illegal?

It's almost as if you have an agenda by repeatedly referring to "caste". I hope the girl got her gonorrhea cleared up.

He was obviously trying to sleep with a young female patient, who hours earlier he was asking to touch her privates, then loitered in the room to see her private under the guise of training, then used her chart to cyberstalk her.

He should have been expelled.

And what in the hell do his undergrad grades have to do with their son being an unprofessional creep?

I’d bet anything the lawsuit reveals this was not his first rodeo and his version of this event was full of falsehoods.

This is my read on the situation too. If left unchecked this could have gotten much worse over the years. She did the right thing and so did the school.

Her choices killed a physician who had dedicated his life to helping others. Hopefully she can live with herself.

Her choice to report a predator did no such thing. Think how many future victims she likely saved. Teach your son not to be creepy. He can’t just say whatever he wants.

How do people even think or know to report an STD question or bring up their social media handles?

This is weird.

Times have changed. People demand accountability now.

They aren’t going to win anything. Throwing money away and amplifying what an unprofessional creep the late son was.

Katie Meyers family sued for similar reasons and got a favorable settlement.

I wouldn’t hold your breath for this university to make a scholarship in honor of an accused sex pest creep.

Well according to you they did everything absolutely right and no mistakes were made. We shall see.

The parents also have no clue what’s already in the adult son’s file. We shall see is right.

The parents want a policy that administrators can only email students when the mental health clinic is open? This is so delusional.

What it sounds like this boils down to is the parents think this tart is low caste and thus her accusations - no matter how egregious - in their culture mean nothing. They truly can’t wrap their head around how he could be in hot water for an accusation from someone “below” their family.

A teen bimbo nursing student woke up one morning and cooked up an entrapment against a genius 4.0 GPA medical student? Far fetched.

She was obviously mortified about her personal problems.

But nobody else in this story is. You have an anti-Indian axe to grind.

If the university let him continue seeing patients and he continued this alleged behavior the hospital and/or university could be in the hook for a Larry Nasser-sized nine figure settlement where each patient gets 1-2 million USD. They had to bench him and fully investigate. That takes time. Frankly 18 days is quick considering the deeply troubling context.
