To the two prior posters with sons who gave up lacrosse, what sport are they playing now?

Actually I'm a different poster. But, you just confirm the obnoxiousness that makes this thread so annoying. There are more than one poster who wish you had a life.

Question: What do you call someone who reads and spends significant time on forum boards in which they have no interest?

Answer: Someone who needs a life.

What do you call someone who is always responding to those that have no interest? Someone who needs a life.

In looking through this very long thread, it's clear that there should be a separate women's lacrosse thread.

TotAlly agree. Part of me does not want to please the putz who keeps denigrating ladies lax, but there would be more back and forth and focused interest with a separate thread. Why don't you try starting one up? My laxer is a boy, so I can't.

Both my DD and DS play club/HS lacrosse at their private. For me, they are such different games/ leagues/communities. I can participate in DD's programs much more easily but often turn to this discussion to better understands DS' lax world.

Plus the posters on the girls side are much more helpful. Why doesn’t mr Steele separate the two? Can’t figure him out sometimes.

Great idea. Separate girls and boys and move to sports forum.

OR simply ignore the damn thread and move on with your life.

Why would you expect Jeff to separate the threads? You are free to start a separate thread any time you like, and the people who don't have any interest in boys' lacrosse can post over there instead. Also, I've been really impressed by how quickly Jeff has removed the posts from the misogynists. If you use the report button any time someone posts something obnoxious or deliberately inflammatory, the thread should stay pretty clean.

That being said, it's not clear to me why you can't just use this thread any time you want to talk about private school girls' lacrosse. Parents of both boys and girls seem to be content to post together on the soccer threads. What makes lacrosse different?
