You are free to start a separate thread any time you like, and the people who don't have any interest in boys' lacrosse can post over there instead. Also, I've been really impressed by how quickly Jeff has removed the posts from the misogynists. If you use the report button any time someone posts something obnoxious or deliberately inflammatory, the thread should stay pretty clean. That being said, it's not clear to me why you can't just use this thread any time you want to talk about private school girls' lacrosse.
