Because he asked some questions? This seems a little ridiculous.

Wannabe obgyn just saw a patient’s vagina and then uses her chart to cyberstalk her on social media as soon as she leaves. No big deal?

What’s the crime?

You ought to google Larry Nasser.

Um sticking your hand up into young girls bodies is not at all similar to asking a question that made an adult uncomfortable. Are you insane?

+1

He asked an adult woman some awkward questions. There was no need for her to make a formal report, let alone for the university to bully him to death.

If she doesn’t want to be his patient again, she does have to request it. And that is her right. She doesn’t have to be uncomfortable to make him comfortable. And I have seen ZERO evidence he was bullied by ANYONE. Lots of snowplow boy moms on this thread.

She was there for STD testing.

Typical ploy by the abuser. Your attempt to smear the victim won't work here.

Well she had to come back in 2 weeks so clearly something was up. Probably figured out her BF who abused her was cheating on her.

Reading between the lines she was probably prescribed antibiotics for a UTI. Doesn’t mean she had an STD or got the UTI from sex. But that’s the narrative his family seems to be trafficking: This was a young Godless western whore with STDs baiting their high caste “doctor” son.

You don’t go back in two weeks for a UTI. Your read is not very good.

He was obviously trying to sleep with a young female patient, who hours earlier he was asking to touch her privates, then loitered in the room to see her private under the guise of training, then used her chart to cyberstalk her.

He should have been expelled.

And what in the hell do his undergrad grades have to do with their son being an unprofessional creep?

I’d bet anything the lawsuit reveals this was not his first rodeo and his version of this event was full of falsehoods.

This is my read on the situation too. If left unchecked this could have gotten much worse over the years. She did the right thing and so did the school.

Her choices killed a physician who had dedicated his life to helping others. Hopefully she can live with herself.

Her choice to report a predator did no such thing. Think how many future victims she likely saved. Teach your son not to be creepy. He can’t just say whatever he wants.

Abuser?? LOL

Why is a few moments of passing discomfort for her worth the career of this promising young physician?

Wow, just wow. Almost that exact phrase was used to excuse Brock Turner.

He only blocked her because she ignored his followed request. He didn’t have a change of heart or wise up. He was tryin to cover his tracks after doing something expel-worthy.

As a nursing student she was also doing ethical diligence. My Dad is a physician and he reported a doctor who was inappropriate to my granddad (mom's dad) during a visit.

HE ended his life. HE DID. Not her. Not the school. Him. He was an adult with agency asking people to trust his judgement and decision making.

If it wasn’t this it would have been something else. This is not how a mentally well person responds to a situation like this.

Was she a nurse or a nursing student? It sounds like a student - she could be a teenager in the nursing program there. How horrifying

A male OGBYN using a girl patient’s medical chart to track down her instagram adds credibility to the rest of her claims. And calls his version of events into doubt.

So many false arguments here.

1. We don’t know he was going to lose his career. He didn’t either unless he was worried they were going to discover something much worse than what we know.

2. We have no clue whether or not his potential career was “promising.”

What we do know is that she had a duty to report and the school had a duty to investigate. He had a duty to be patient and let it play out.

This perspective is very, very common. The reality is that we, as a collective, do not care about sexual abuse, assault, or harassment. See: the Epstein files.

We are more forgiving of men’s assaults than we are of women who report them. This should not be a surprise to anyone. Society hates women and girls.

A good friend of my husband’s committed suicide during medical school. His family didn’t sue anyone though.

most doctors are in it for the money and prestige — judging from his glamour shot on the beach, that seems to fit.
